UNC freshman McDonald not in uniform for Duke game
Mar 7, 2010 - 1:28 AM DURHAM, N.C.(AP) -- North Carolina backup guard Leslie McDonald was not in uniform for Saturday night's season finale against No. 4 Duke.Team officials said the freshman strained his right hamstring during practice Friday.
McDonald is averaging 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 28 games.
Two other injured North Carolina players dressed and took part in pregame warmups. Forward Deon Thompson has been battling sore back muscles and swingman Will Graves has a sprained ankle.
No one has shouted yet.
