VCU sophomore dismissed from team
Apr 7, 2010 - 10:20 PM RICHMOND, Va.(AP) -- Forward Terrance Saintil has been dismissed from the men's basketball team at Virginia Commonwealth University.Coach Shaka Smart made the announcement Wednesday but did not give a reason.
The 6-foot-8 Saintil, from North Miami, Fla., played in 57 games in his two seasons with the Rams, averaging 2.1 points and 1.9 rebounds. He averaged 2.5 points in 26 games this season after returning from a thumb injury and played less than 8 minutes per game.
The Rams won the College Basketball Invitational championship.
