UNC's Marshall fractures wrist
Mar 19, 2012 - 12:43 AM Chapel Hill, NC (Sports Network) - North Carolina may have advanced to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 Sunday, but they were also dealt a significant blow as Kendall Marshall suffered a fractured right wrist in the victory.The sophomore guard's availability for the remainder of the tournament is unknown.
He suffered the injury while bracing his fall after getting fouled on a driving layup attempt in the second half.
Marshall averages 7.9 points and a team-high 9.7 assists a game for North Carolina.
