Marshall ruled out against Ohio
Mar 23, 2012 - 11:07 PM St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - North Carolina sophomore point guard Kendall Marshall has been ruled out for Friday's Midwest Regional semifinal against Ohio University.Freshman Stilman White will start in his place.
Marshall underwent successful surgery Monday to repair a broken scaphoid bone in his right wrist. The injury occurred during the second half of North Carolina's win over Creighton in the third round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament.
He is averaging 8.1 points and 9.8 assists for the season.
