Providence nets Wake Forest transfer
May 10, 2012 - 7:40 PM Providence, RI (Sports Network) - Providence College announced on Thursday that sophomore Carson Desrosiers will transfer to the university from Wake Forest.Desrosiers, a 7-foot, 235-pounder out of Windham, New Hampshire, appeared in 62 games for the Demon Deacons over the last two seasons, averaging 4.4 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
Due to NCAA rules, Desrosiers will be eligible to practice with the Friars, but will not be able to suit up until the 2013-14 campaign. He will then have two years of eligibility remaining.
