Seton Hall adds transfer G Gibbs from Texas

May 15, 2012 - 12:24 AM South Orange, NJ (Sports Network) - Former Texas point guard Sterling Gibbs has transferred to Seton Hall.

Texas announced last month that Gibbs would transfer and Seton Hall said Monday that he was added to the roster.

Gibbs saw action in 30 of Texas' 34 games as a freshman and averaged 2.6 points and 7 1/2 minutes of playing time.

He is the brother of recent Pittsburgh graduate Ashton Gibbs.
