South Carolina's Geathers out 6 months
Jul 23, 2012 - 4:10 PM Columbia, SC (Sports Network) - South Carolina redshirt sophomore forward Carlton Geathers will be sidelined up to six months after suffering a broken kneecap.Head coach Frank Martin revealed the news on Monday, saying the fracture, which was sustained during a pro-am contest last Thursday, will require surgery.
Last season, Geathers averaged 1.0 points and 1.5 rebounds in almost eight minutes per game.
