George Washington G Rice withdraws from NBA draft
Jun 18, 2007 - 7:42 PM WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- George Washington guard Maureece Rice announced Monday that he is withdrawing from the NBA draft and will return to school for his senior season.Rice was the Colonials' leading scorer last season, averaging 15.8 points as a starter in all 32 games. He also led the team with 64 3-pointers, making 43 percent of his shots from the arc.
The 2006 Atlantic 10 Conference Sixth Man of the Year did not hire an agent.
