Gamecocks' Page ineligible for rest of the season
Jan 4, 2013 - 11:40 PM Columbia, SC (Sports Network) - South Carolina guard LaShay Page will not compete for the Gamecocks for the remainder of the 2012-13 season, the team announced on Friday.Page, a post-graduate senior, will be forced from playing due to an academic eligibility issue. Over nine contests, Page averaged 11.7 points -- including two 20-point efforts -- and 3.3 rebounds per contest.
