Cal's Crabbe to enter NBA Draft
Apr 4, 2013 - 5:47 AM Berkeley, CA (Sports Network) - California junior All-American guard Allen Crabbe has elected to forego his final year of collegiate eligibility and enter the 2013 NBA Draft.Crabbe finished his career 10th in school history in scoring with 1,537 points in 98 career games. He averaged 15.7 points over his career. Crabbe was also among the school's all-time leaders in career 3-point field goals (third, 209), free-throw percentage (seventh, .819) and 3-point field goal percentage (T-10th, .382).
"It has been a dream of mine to play at the next level for a long time and I feel deep down in my heart this is the right decision," Crabbe said. "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Cal and learned a lot from my coaches and teammates. I will miss a lot of people at this University both in basketball and in school. I will always be a Golden Bear at heart."
This past season, Crabbe ranked third in the Pac-12 in scoring average at 18.4 points per game.
