Texas' Kabongo declares for NBA Draft
Apr 12, 2013 - 4:17 PM Austin, TX (Sports Network) - Texas sophomore guard Myck Kabongo has decided to enter the 2013 NBA Draft.Kabongo only played the final 11 games of the 2012-13 season due to a 23-game NCAA suspension to start the year for accepting impermissible benefits and lying about it to school officials.
During those 11 contests, he led the team in scoring (14.6 ppg), assists (5.5 apg), steals (2.0 spg) and minutes (37.3 mpg). Kabongo was named the team's MVP.
Kabongo played and started 45 career games over two seasons at Texas, averaging 10.8 points and 5.3 assists.
