K-State guard Rodriguez to transfer
Apr 23, 2013 - 12:54 PM Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - Kansas State point guard Angel Rodriguez has announced his decision to leave the program, wishing to be closer to his family living in Puerto Rico, according to the Kansas City Star.Rodriguez earned second-team All-Big 12 honors as a sophomore in 2012-13, scoring 11.4 points per game while ranking third in the conference with 5.2 assists per game. He also led the Wildcats in made 3-pointers (55) and steals (50).
Rodriguez has not yet stated where he intends to transfer.
