Colorado's Roberson declares for NBA Draft
Apr 28, 2013 - 8:49 PM Boulder, CO (Sports Network) - University of Colorado forward Andre Roberson will forgo his senior season and declare for the NBA Draft.The 6-foot-7 Roberson averaged 10.9 points and 11.2 rebounds per game this season to help the Buffaloes go 21-12 and earn a trip to the NCAA Tournament.
Roberson finished second nationally in rebounding and was selected as the 2012-13 Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team all-conference pick. He also had 1,045 career rebounds, ten shy of becoming the program's all-time leader in that category.
"We support Andre and want what's best for him and his family," said Colorado head coach Tad Boyle. "We wish him the best."
