Trae Golden leaving Tennessee
May 7, 2013 - 6:51 PM Knoxville, TN (Sports Network) - Tennessee junior point guard Trae Golden has decided to transfer.Golden averaged 9.7 points, 3.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 96 games, including 58 starts, with the Volunteers. He was the team's third-leading scorer this past season, averaging 12.1 points in 31 games.
"I had a great three years here at Tennessee, but I plan to play my senior year somewhere else this fall," Golden said in a release through the university.
Golden led the team with an average of 13.6 points as a sophomore.
