Arizona's Gordon, Johnson declare for NBA Draft

Apr 15, 2014 - 8:28 PM Tucson, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona forward Aaron Gordon and guard Nick Johnson announced their decisions to enter the 2014 NBA Draft on Tuesday.

Gordon, a 6-foot-9 freshman, is considered a lock to be a lottery pick on most NBA draft boards after averaging 12.4 points and 8.0 rebounds during his only season at Arizona in 2013-14.

Johnson averaged a team-high 16.3 points per game and racked up 107 assists during his junior campaign last season, which ended with a heartbreaking loss to Wisconsin in the Elite Eight.

The 6-foot-3 Johnson is expected to be selected in the second round of the draft, which is slated for June 26.
