Colorado's Dinwiddie declares for draft
Apr 24, 2014 - 9:58 PM Boulder, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Colorado guard Spencer Dinwiddie will forego his final season of eligibility and declare for the NBA Draft.Dinwiddie, Colorado's leading scorer as a junior at 14.7 points per game, missed the final 18 games of the season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn left anterior cruciate ligament. The Buffaloes suffered with Dinwiddie out of the lineup, finishing with a 23-12 mark after a 14-2 start.
Dinwiddie announced his intentions at a press conference on Thursday.
In three years in Boulder, Dinwiddie averaged 13.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists per contest. He is projected to hear his name in the second round of June's draft.
