No. 2 North Carolina's game at Virginia Tech moved to 3 p.m.

Jan 24, 2016 - 12:58 AM GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) The Atlantic Coast Conference says Sunday's game at Virginia Tech featuring the Hokies and No. 2 North Carolina has been moved to a 3 p.m. start.

The game was originally slated to tip at 6:30 p.m. The league cited ''continued weather conditions'' in announcing the game.

Much of Virginia has been blanketed by snow over the past few days, and in some areas, well over a foot has fallen.

The Tar Heels (17-2, 6-0 ACC) will be looking for their 11th consecutive victory.

Virginia Tech (12-7, 4-2) is one of the surprise teams in the league in just its second season under coach Buzz Williams.
