0 shoutsCOLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Ticker) -- Utah guard Luka Drca was suspended one game by the Mountain West Conference on Thursday for striking an opponent.
A sophomore from Serbia, Drca hit an opposing player with an elbow with 11:05 remaining in the first half of the Utes' 74-58 victory over TCU on Saturday.
Drca will miss this Saturday's road game against Colorado State, the only winless team in the MWC at 0-6.
Utah (11-8) is 2-4 in league play after losing four of its last five games.
On the season, the 6-5 Drca has averaged 4.1 points, 3.3 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 18 games as a reserve.
