UNC G Lawson out for second straight game
Feb 11, 2008 - 12:02 AM CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina (Ticker) -- North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson missed his second straight game due to a sprained left ankle as his third-ranked Tar Heels hosted Clemson on Sunday.The speedy sophomore, who is averaging 13.6 points and 5.7 assists per game, also missed Wednesday's home loss to arch-rival No. 2 Duke. The injury occurred early in the first half of North Carolina's victory over Florida State on February 3.
Senior Quentin Thomas made his third career start in his place.
