Seton Hall's Davis to transfer

Apr 7, 2008 - 8:07 PM SOUTH ORANGE, New Jersey (Ticker) -- Seton Hall sophomore guard Larry Davis has decided to leave the men's basketball program and pursue transfer opportunities, the school announced Monday.

Davis played in all 61 Seton Hall games over the last two seasons, averaging 6.6 points and 3.4 rebounds. Last season, Davis made 13 starts and averaged 5.8 points and 3.4 rebounds.

"Larry is a great kid and we wish him nothing but the best in the future," Seton Hall coach Bobby Gonzalez said. "We greatly appreciate the contributions Larry made the last two seasons. Hopefully, he'll get an opportunity at another school that can give him the playing time he deserves."
