Ohio State F Koufos declares for NBA draft
Apr 21, 2008 - 11:41 PM COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- Ohio State freshman forward Kosta Koufos announced Monday that he will declare for the NBA draft but not hire an agent.The seven-footer averaged 14.4 points and 6.7 rebounds as the Buckeyes (24-13) captured the National Invitation Tournament championship.
Koufos scored 18.2 points over five games in the NIT and had 22 points in the 92-85 victory over Massachusetts in the championship game on April 3.
By not hiring an agent, Koufos can return to Ohio State for his sophomore season in 2008-09.
