Florida State F Vaughn to transfer
Apr 29, 2008 - 10:00 PM TALLAHASSEE, Florida (Ticker) -- Florida State freshman forward Julian Vaughn will transfer from the men's basketball team, the school announced on Tuesday.The 6-10, 239-pound Vaughn averaged 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 31 games, including seven starts, for Florida State this season.
"Julian has asked for his release and we have granted his request," Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton said. "We wish him well."
It is unknown at this time where Vaughn, a native of Virginia, will transfer to.
