Air Force's Reynolds agrees to five-year contract
Jun 18, 2008 - 6:29 PM COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Ticker) -- Air Force men's basketball coach Jeff Reynolds agreed on a new five-year contract that will keep him with the service academy through 2012-13, the school announced Wednesday.According to athletic director Dr. Hans Mueh, details of contract are still being worked out.
Reynolds is coming off his first season as coach for the Falcons after getting promoted from an assistant on April 17, 2007 to replace Jeff Bzdelik, who moved on to Colorado. Air Force went 16-14, including a fifth-place finish in the Mountain West Conference.
A longtime assistant, Reynolds also served as a head coach for Division II Wingate College, compiling a 61-27 record from 1997-2000.
