Wake Forest F Skeen suspended
Jun 24, 2008 - 8:55 PM WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Wake Forest announced Tuesday that forward Jamie Skeen has been suspended for the fall semester due to a violation of academic policy.Skeen just completed his sophomore campaign, averaging 5.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 29 games - six starts - for the Demon Deacons last season.
"Jamie is an outstanding young man with much to contribute to Wake Forest, both on the basketball court and to the University," Demon Deacons coach Dino Gaudio. "However, sometimes good people make poor decisions, and that is what happened here. Hopefully, this will be a learning experience for the young man that will help him grow as a person."
