0 shoutsDURHAM, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Duke University announced Tuesday that Junior Morgan, a center for the men's basketball team from 1953-56, passed away from prostate cancer on Saturday. He was 74.
Morgan led the team in rebounds in his junior and senior seasons, recording 11.2 points and 9.8 rebounds during the 1955-56 season.
He was drafted in the seventh round of the 1957 NBA draft by the St. Louis Hawks but never played professionally.
