LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- UCLA forward Nikola Dragovic underwent an MRI on his left foot due to lingering pain, the school announced on Wednesday.
The test discovered that the 6-9 junior has what appears to be a cyst between his left foot and ankle. He will undergo a further evaluation.
Last season, the native of Serbia appeared in 25 games, averaging 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds. He is expected to be one of the Bruins' top reserves in 2008-09.
UCLA, which has reached the Final Four in each of the last three seasons, will play its first exhibition game against California Baptist on November 3 and open the regular season against Prairie View A&M on November 12.
