Tennessee G Prince out 3-5 weeks
Oct 31, 2008 - 5:22 PM KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Tennessee guard J.P. Prince will miss three to five weeks with a right shoulder injury, Volunteers coach Bruce Pearl said Friday.No surgery will be needed for Prince's injury, which was sustained during a fall in Tuesday's practice. An MRI taken Wednesday revealed a labral injury which will be treated non-operatively with rehab and rest.
The reigning Southeastern Conference Sixth Man of the Year, Prince averaged 8.0 points with a 49.7 shooting percentage last season.
A junior, Prince had surgery on his left shoulder six months ago.
