Southern Illinois C Evans out with broken wrist
Nov 24, 2008 - 11:20 PM CARBONDALE, Illinois (Ticker) -- Southern Illinois center Nick Evans will be sidelined for the next four to six weeks with a broken wrist, the school announced Monday.The 6-11 redshirt freshman suffered the injury in Friday's 77-60 loss to UCLA in the consolation game of the 2K Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden. Drew had four points and a rebound in 14 minutes.
In four games on the season, Evans averaged 6.3 points and 2.8 rebounds.
The Salukis (2-2) will return to action at Western Kentucky on Wednesday.
