Villanova C Drummond to transfer
Dec 1, 2008 - 10:25 PM VILLANOVA, Pennsylvania (Ticker) -- Villanova center Casiem Drummond informed the Wildcats' coaching staff Monday that he will transfer from the school.The 6-10 Drummond has appeared in two games this season for the 16th-ranked Wildcats, averaging 2.0 points and 2.5 rebounds. The junior missed most of last season with ankle injuries and has averaged 3.3 points in 42 career games at Villanova.
"Casiem is interested in finding a place where he can earn significantly more playing time than he has received here," Villanova head coach Jay Wright said. "Our staff is doing all it can to help him locate that opportunity.
"(Drummond) has made strides in his time with us, and we appreciate all his efforts on behalf of our basketball family."
