Ohio State G Lighty udergoes surgery
Dec 18, 2008 - 11:06 PM COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- Ohio State junior guard David Lighty will miss 6-to-12 weeks after undergoing surgery Thursday to repair a broken bone in his left foot.Lighty suffered the injury to the fifth metatarsal during Wednesday's 81-68 victory over Jacksonville. Lighty matched his career high with 21 points in that contest.
In seven games this season, Lighty averaged 9.7 points and 5.7 rebounds.
