Alcorn State G Jackson suspended one game
Feb 16, 2009 - 9:30 PM BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (Ticker) - Alcorn State junior guard Troy Jackson on Monday was suspended one game by the Southwestern Athletic Conference for unsportsmanlike conduct during Saturday's contest at Mississippi Valley State.Jackson, the Braves' leading scorer averaging 20.6 points per game, was ejected after receiving two technical fouls in the second half of an 89-71 loss.
He will sit out Monday's game at Arkansas-Pine Bluff and be eligible to return Saturday against Alabama A&M.
