DePaul, Bruno agree to 1-year contract extension
Oct 23, 2015 - 7:56 PM CHICAGO (AP) DePaul and women's basketball coach Doug Bruno have agreed to a one-year contract extension through the 2020-21 season.Bruno enters his 30th season at DePaul with a 587-309 record. He has led the Blue Demons to 13 consecutive NCAA Tournaments and 20 in all. He was also an assistant to Connecticut's Geno Auriemma on the U.S. national team that won the 2012 Olympic gold medal, and he will assist Auriemma at the 2016 Games.
Bruno played at DePaul under coach Ray Meyer.
