BC QB Tuggle, RB Haden to transfer
Oct 27, 2009 - 4:19 PM BOSTON (AP) -- Boston College quarterback Justin Tuggle, who started the team's first three games, and running back Josh Haden have decided to transfer.Justin Tuggle, a redshirt freshman, completed 13 of 37 passes for 229 yards, with four touchdowns and three interceptions in four games. He started and shared time with David Shinskie in the first three games for the Eagles (5-3, 3-2 ACC), but has not played in the last four.
Haden, a sophomore, was the team's second-leading rusher with 58 carries for 242 yards and one touchdown in six games. He had 492 yards and a touchdown in 13 games as a freshman.
BC coach Frank Spaziani said in a statement that he wished both players well.
