Groh, Dugans join Louisville coaching staff
Jan 19, 2010 - 10:09 PM LOUISVILLE, Ky.(AP) -- Louisville coach Charlie Strong has finished filling out his coaching staff.Strong has hired former Virginia assistant Mike Groh to coach the quarterbacks and former Georgia Southern assistant Ron Dugans to coach the wide receivers.
Groh spent last season as a graduate assistant at Alabama. Before coaching the Crimson Tide, he was an assistant at Virginia for eight seasons, including three as the offensive coordinator.
Dugans played at Florida State and spent five seasons as a wideout in the NFL before getting into coaching. He spent the 2006 season as a graduate assistant at Florida State before moving on to Georgia Southern.
