Houston dismisses 2 football players
Feb 25, 2010 - 12:45 AM HOUSTON(AP) -- Houston Cougars football coach Kevin Sumlin has dismissed freshman kick returner A.J. Dugat and sophomore offensive lineman Ari Tatum from the team for unspecified reasons.The 188-pound Dugat, from Dayton, returned 19 punts for 6.1-yard average last season and caught 14 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown.
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Tatum, from Dacula, Ga., played in only one game.
