Georgia State to play Tennessee in 2012
Sep 14, 2011 - 1:56 PM Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Georgia State football will play a Southeastern Conference opponent for the second time when the Panthers travel to Tennessee on Sept. 8, 2012.Georgia State played at Alabama last season. An FCS independent this season, the second-year program will join CAA Football next year.
The Tennessee game will be played at Neyland Stadium.
Georgia State head coach Bill Curry faced Tennessee in all 17 of his seasons as head coach at Georgia Tech, Alabama and Kentucky.
