Dec 5, 2011 - 1:55 AM Fresno, CA (Sports Network) - Fresno State has relieved head football coach Pat Hill of his duties.Athletic director Thomas Boeh made the decision Sunday, one day after the Bulldogs finished a 4-9 season with a 35-28 loss at San Diego State.
"Following a thorough evaluation of the team's on-field performance over the past several years, it has been determined that the program would be best served with a change in leadership," Boeh said. "I truly respect and appreciate coach Hill's commitment, hard work, accomplishments and positive elements that he brought to Fresno State Football over the past 15 years."
Hill compiled a 112-80 record and went to 11 bowl games during his tenure with Fresno State.
