Purdue RB Pegram leaves school

Jan 18, 2012 - 11:42 PM Lafayette, IN (Sports Network) - Purdue running back Reggie Pegram has left the program and intends to transfer.

The Journal and Courier reported on Wednesday that the Texas native wants to enroll in a school which is closer to his family.

In his sophomore season, Pegram totaled 109 yards rushing and one touchdown on 22 attempts with eight receptions for 59 yards and one score. Both TDs came in Purdue's 37-32 win over Western Michigan in the Little Caesars Bowl on December 27.
