Two WKU football players treated for gunshot wounds
Apr 15, 2012 - 7:02 PM Bowling Green, KY (Sports Network) - Western Kentucky sophomore Tevin Holliman and freshman Ricardo Singh each sustained a single gunshot wound on Saturday night, the team announced in a statement on Sunday.The student-athletes were at the Lava Lounge, located off campus in Bowling Green, when the shooting took place and were unarmed, according to the statement.
Holliman and Singh are receiving hospital care and neither suffered life- threatening injuries.
The school is currently in the process of gathering information, but head coach Willie Taggart has been in contact with the parents of both players.
No one has shouted yet.
