Murray State adds another FBS transfer
Aug 15, 2012 - 1:51 PM Murray, KY (Sports Network) - Murray State football has added former University of Arkansas defensive back/linebacker Darrell Smith to its roster, head coach Chris Hatcher announced Wednesday.Smith, from Port St. Joe, Fla., is the third former FBS player to join the Racers this week. On Monday, they added running back Jaamal Berry, formerly of Ohio State, and cornerback Cadarius Sanders, from South Carolina.
Smith, 6-foot-3, 203 pounds, has two seasons of eligibility remaining. He appeared in eight games last season, making six tackles.
As a freshman, he played mostly on special teams, making three tackles in eight games.
