Virginia Tech safety Cole taken off field in ambulance
Nov 9, 2012 - 4:50 AM Blacksburg, VA (Sports Network) - Virginia Tech safety Michael Cole was taken off the field in an ambulance during the third quarter of Thursday's 28-22 loss against Florida State.Early in the frame, Cole was injured on a collision and laid on the field. He was attended to by trainers for several minutes.
Eventually, an ambulance backed onto the field and Cole, who was restrained and on a stretcher, was placed in the ambulance and taken to LewisGale Medical Center in Blacksburg.
It was later announced that he had feeling and movement in his extremities. The injury was termed as a neck sprain.
