SE Louisiana's Alford to play in Senior Bowl
Nov 21, 2012 - 10:13 AM Hammond, LA (Sports Network) - Buck Buchanan Award finalist Robert Alford has been selected to play in the 2013 Senior Bowl on Jan. 26 in Mobile, Ala.Alford, a fifth-year senior cornerback, also was named to the All-Southland Conference first team on Tuesday.
Alford recorded 39 tackles and led Southeastern Louisiana with four interceptions, eight pass breakups and five tackles for loss this season. He has 10 interceptions in his career.
He is expected to be one of the top NFL Draft selections from the FCS in April.
The 2013 Senior Bowl will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile.
