West Virginia WR Bailey going pro
Dec 18, 2012 - 1:55 AM Morgantown, WV (Sports Network) - West Virginia wide receiver Stedman Bailey has decided to forgo his senior season to enter the NFL draft.Bailey caught 106 passes for 1,501 yards and an NCAA-best 23 touchdowns this season.
"I kind of weighed out all of my options, sat down with my family, sat down with Coach (Dana) Holgorsen and we all came to the conclusion that this was the best decision for me," said Bailey on the school's site. "I thought it out for quite a bit."
During his sophomore campaign in 2011, Bailey caught 72 passes for 1,279 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The Mountaineers will face Syracuse in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl at Yankee Stadium on Dec. 29.
