Oklahoma loses two to NFL Draft
Jan 7, 2013 - 11:53 PM Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Oklahoma wide receiver Kenny Stills and safety Tony Jefferson announced Monday their intentions to enter the 2013 NFL Draft.Stills, a 6-foot-1 junior, has started all 37 games of his college career. He's hauled in 204 receptions for 2,594 yards and 24 touchdowns in three seasons and had a career-high 82 catches totaling 959 yards with 11 scores in 2012.
Jefferson, also a junior, led the Sooners in tackles with 119 while adding 3.5 tackles for loss, a half-sack, two interceptions and three pass breakups in 13 games this season. He started 33-of-39 career games.
"We appreciate the contributions that Tony and Kenny have made during their time at Oklahoma," Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said. "We wish them both the best as they pursue their opportunities in the NFL."
