Stanford CB Brown declares for NFL draft
Jan 8, 2013 - 8:26 PM Stanford, CA (Sports Network) - Stanford cornerback Terrence Brown has decided to forego his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2013 NFL Draft.On Tuesday, the school released a statement from Brown, thanking his coaches for the opportunity to play for the Cardinal.
"My admission to Stanford University in 2009 was a life-changing event for me, and all of the faculty, students and staff I have met since have truly blessed and enriched me. I will forever and always be a Cardinal," said Brown.
He continued by saying, "The past four years have been a great experience for me at Stanford, and I feel well prepared to move on to the next level."
Brown recorded 65 tackles and an interception while starting all 14 games for the Cardinal this past season.
