TCU QB Pachall back on campus
Jan 14, 2013 - 4:43 PM Fort Worth, TX (Sports Network) - Former TCU quarterback Casey Pachall is back on campus after receiving treatment for his substance abuse problem.Pachall left school after an October arrest for suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Pachall finished his out-patient treatment Thursday in Austin, where he was living with his sister. He moved back to Fort Worth on Friday, took part in a team meeting Sunday and is expected to resume classes Monday.
Pachall threw for 948 yards with 10 touchdowns and one interception over the first four games last season.
Trevone Boykin took over as the starter when Pachall left. However, Pachall will likely be given a chance to win the starting job back.
The Horned Frogs lost to Michigan State in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl to end the season with a 7-6 mark.
