DeWayne Walker leaves New Mexico State for Jaguars
Jan 24, 2013 - 8:45 PM Las Cruces, NM (Sports Network) - New Mexico State announced Thursday that head football coach DeWayne Walker has accepted the defensive backs coaching position with the Jacksonville Jaguars.Walker was the Aggies' head coach from 2008-12. He was 1-11 this past season, and 10-40 during his tenure at New Mexico State.
Before coaching New Mexico State, Walker was the defensive coordinator for UCLA from 2006-08, and coached the Bruins in a loss against BYU in the 2007 Las Vegas Bowl.
