Jacobsen headlines North Dakota State class
Feb 6, 2013 - 11:50 PM Fargo, ND (Sports Network) - Head coach Craig Bohl of two-time defending FCS national champion North Dakota State unveiled a signing class of 21 high school seniors on Wednesday.In addition, three more players were admitted to NDSU as recruited walk-ons.
The breakdown for the Bison's recruiting haul was 13 defensive players and 11 offensive players from nine different states.
Headlining the class was 6-foot-3, 275-pound nose tackle Nick Jacobsen, a Rivals three-star recruit out of Prescott, Wisc. He finished the 2012 season with 86 tackles, including 20 for loss, despite often being double- and triple- teamed.
NDSU finished with a 14-1 record this past season and beat Sam Houston State in the national championship game for the second straight year.
