South Dakota to open 2014 season at Oregon
May 24, 2013 - 11:56 PM Vermillion, SD (Sports Network) - The University of South Dakota football team will open its 2014 season at the University of Oregon.The first-ever meeting between the programs will take place on Aug. 30 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
"This is an opportunity for our team to see one of the top programs in the United States and play in one of the nation's best facilities," USD coach Joe Glenn said. "It will be an experience that our players will be able to share with their children and grandchildren. Financially, it helps out our department and helps make ends meet."
The Coyotes own a signature win against an FBS opponent, 41-38 against Minnesota in 2010.
