USC's Lee declares for draft

Jan 4, 2014 - 2:53 AM Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - USC star wide receiver Marqise Lee will forgo his senior season and enter the 2014 NFL Draft.

"To all Trojan fans, I have decided to forego my senior season at USC and declare for the 2014 NFL Draft. I want to thank my coaches, teammates, staff and the entire Trojan Family for all of the support over the last three seasons. I am a proud Trojan and will remain a Trojan for life!," Lee announced through his personal Twitter account.

Lee, the 2012 Biletnikoff Award winner, was a frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy entering the season, but battled injuries throughout a disappointing campaign.

His best season came in 2012 when he caught 118 passes for 1,721 yards and 14 touchdowns while also returning 30 kicks for 856 yards and a score. In 2013 he registered just 57 catches for 791 yards and four touchdowns over 11 games.
